Ros is one of our longest serving clients at thrive having trained with us for over 8 years at multiple facilities. A now retired GP, Ros trains with us 4-5 times a week alongside regular walks with her dog Anbu so is very active and it shows in her health! Push ups, chin ups and squats all feature in Ros’ programmes and she’s as strong now as she’s ever been.
This is especially remarkable when you consider the fact that Ros has scoliosis of the cervical and lumbar spine, as well as reduced flexion and strength of the left quadriceps after a past surgery when she first came to us. After overcoming all of these obstacles, she is now a valued part of the community here at Thrive and continues to make progress with her health and fitness.
